Travel a new road.

When Kiva’s cannabis confection wizards emerge from the kitchen with something new, edibles epicures take note. Now the makers of the most trusted chocolate in cannabis are offering a new line of gummies that evoke the California experience.

Camino edible gummies, inspired by the historic El Camino Real – a 600-mile road winding from Baja to the Bay – are carefully crafted to conjure an iconic California landscape. Each contains a unique blend of THC, CBD, and natural terpenes designed for specialized effects.

Let’s meet the new flavors of Kiva:

Sparkling Prosecco.

2 mg THC, 6 mg CBD. Kiva co-founder Scott Palmer tells Eaze: “This is for the trip to wine country … The effect is social, with CBD to balance out the THC.”

Pineapple Habanero.

5 mg THC, 0 mg CBD. “This is for that trip to Joshua tree, hiking for the whole day, anything physical,” Palmer says. “We’re using terpenes here that support energy and an uplifting effect.”

Blenheim Apricot.

5 mg THC, 0 mg CBD. Palmer tells Eaze: “This is our ‘hybrid’ effect, balanced to be equal on both sides of the spectrum.”

Wild Berry.

5 mg THC, 0 mg CBD. “If you’re looking for a more laid-back feeling, that would be our wild berry, with Linalool and Myercene,” Palmer says.

Not your average cannabis gummies.

The double-peak shaped gummies are soft and pliable but don’t turn sticky or gooey over time, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that’s great for holding under your tongue if you want that sublingual effects fast-forward. Each easily divisible gummy contains either 5 mg or 2 mg of THC, so they’re perfect for low-dosing (though more intrepid travelers will have no problem eating two or more).

And because it’s Kiva, they’re delicious, of course.

“We’ve been successful because we were kind of crazy about food in general,” Palmer tells Eaze. “It’s got to taste amazing, it’s got to be a good food experience, or we won’t do it. That’s what sets Camino apart.”
